FT. LAUDERDALE, FL (March 31, 2014) – Back by popular demand, one of today’s top young bluegrass artists, The Roys, will once again be sailing on the Country Music Cruise. The Roys immediately captured the hearts of fans onboard January’s ship with impeccable musicianship, a deep appreciation of the roots of Bluegrass, and a timeless family harmony sound and were quickly asked to return when the Country Music Cruise sails again in January 2015.

"The Roys were one of our very first acts to perform on the 2014 cruise and we immediately invited them back in 2015," says Senior Vice President Live Entertainment Mike Jason. "They helped open the cruise, performed to enthusiastic fans several times during the week and were a big part, along with Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin Brothers, of our Gospel & Inspiration Hour."

"Being invited to play on the Country Music Cruise is so exciting. Our love of country music runs deep and getting to share our bluegrass and country roots is an honor,” Elaine Roy adds, "We are looking forward to playing music and playing in the sun."

The Roys were named the ICM Bluegrass Artist of the Year in 2011, 2012, and 2013 and won the Top Bluegrass Artist honor at the 10th Annual International Acoustic Music Awards. Their song, "I Wonder What God's Thinking," was a #1 Inspirational Country Single in 2012, they made their Grand Ole Opry debut last November, and have performed on countless national television shows. The Roys’ latest album, Gypsy Runaway Train, was released last summer and debuted in the top 5 on the Billboard Bluegrass Albums Chart as well as topped the "Most Played Albums" chart on SiriusXM in October 2013.
